Responsible for generating and assisting with product sales by providing customers/potential customers with value added services, exceptional customer service and attention to customer profitability. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.The Hispanic / Latin Segment Business Development Manager plays a critical role in driving case growth, opening new accounts and expanding sales penetration of PFG brands (especially Contigo) within the segment. This bi-lingual (English / Spanish) professional brings humility and hunger to the role – grounded in a willingness to serve, learn and lead through influence. This position supports the sales team by identifying opportunities, assisting in building customer relationships and serving as a cultural and product expert. Responsible for sales and profitability growth of specific accounts in an assigned geography. May include, but not limited to: order taking, order processing, order guide maintenance, pricing maintenance within guidelines set by the sales manager, accounts receivable monitoring of assigned accounts. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.Position ResponsibilitiesImplement pricing strategies with customers, which achieve an acceptable level of profit margin.Perform accurate data entry and report preparation in a timely manner.Meet financial sales goals.Increase business through combination of account penetration/customer prospecting efforts.Ensure customers receive orders timely and are accurate.
