    Histology Associate (Contract) - 1st Shift | Onsite
    Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
    Location: Onsite
    Overtime: Available but not required

    We are seeking a motivated Histology Associate to support a fast-paced laboratory environment. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to build or expand their experience in histology, pathology support, tissue processing, and laboratory operations. Whether you are early in your career or have prior laboratory experience, this role offers hands-on exposure to industry-leading histology practices while contributing to high-quality specimen preparation and analysis.
    Key Responsibilities
    As a Histology Associate, you will play a critical role in preparing tissue specimens and supporting laboratory operations. Responsibilities include:
    • Prepare and process tissue samples for microscopic examination
    • Embed tissue specimens and assist with specimen preparation activities
    • Operate, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance on histology laboratory equipment
    • Support pathologists and laboratory staff during specimen analysis processes
    • Follow established quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results
    • Maintain compliance with laboratory standards, protocols, and regulatory requirements
    • Adhere to all laboratory safety procedures and guidelines
    • Remain on your feet for extended periods while performing laboratory tasks
    Qualifications Required
    • High school diploma or GED
    • 0-5 years of experience in a laboratory, histology, or related scientific environment
    • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
    • Understanding of industry best practices and laboratory procedures
    • Ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal supervision
    • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable
    Preferred
    • Previous laboratory experience
    • Histotechnician (HT) certification
    • Histotechnologist (HTL) certification
    • Certification in Histotechnology or a related field
