Histology Technician / Technologist

Location: Seabrook, New Hampshire

Hours: 3rd shift

Employment Type: Full-time, Benefit Eligible

Responsibilities:

• Perform embedding and preparation of slides for routine H & E and special stain procedures
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and document activities
• Identify and address troubleshooting needs for processing, embedding, cutting, and staining
• Work in a fast-paced laboratory setting with biological and chemical hazards
• Ensure safety, compliance, and quality control standards

Requirements:

• Experience in microtomy and embedding
• Minimum of 1 year of laboratory training or experience in high complexity testing
• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelors of Science degree preferred
• Completion of a histotechnology program preferred
• Certification as a histotechnician (HT) or histotechnologist (HTL) by ASCP preferred
• State licensure, if applicable
