Instructors are responsible for establishing and promoting an effective learning environment to maximize student learning.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in History from an accredited institution of higher education
• Demonstrated currency in the field of History
• Demonstrated ongoing professional growth

Additional Experiences Considered

• Experience teaching Western Civilization survey courses (early and later) and / or Michigan history courses.
• College teaching experience in face-to-face and online environments.
• Community college teaching experience.
• Experience teaching diverse student populations.
• Experience with teaching courses for dual enrollment initiatives.
