Preparation of tissue specimens for microscopic examination by the Pathologist in an accurate and timely manner in order to assist the Pathologist in providing quality patient care.
This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of AHMC Anaheim Regional Medical Center and AHMC Inc. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the core values of ARMC and AHMC Inc. The employee shall support AHMC Anaheim Regional Medical Center’s strategic plan and goals and direction of the performance improvement plan. Qualifications:Education/Training/Experience
One year experience in hospital histology laboratory
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) Histotechnologist certification preferred.
