Job Description
Under the direction of Supervisor, Pathology and direction of the pathologist, perform technical functions in the histology lab as assigned. In the absence of the Pathology Assistant, provide coverage in processing surgical specimens and assist in the performance of autopsies. Associate Degree in Health Science or related field and one year full time experience in Histopathology and HT (ASCP) certification. Familiarity with anatomic pathology medical terminology and grossing small surgical specimens.
