JOB DESCRIPTION ----------------
Responsible for accurate, correct, routine, and stat tissue processing, including embedment, microtomy, mounting, and staining. Performs routine and special histology, including advanced immunocytochemical and histochemical testing. Recognizes procedural instrument and quality control problems and notifies Charge Histotechnologist. Follows guidelines to correct problems or errors. Prepares reagents, stains, and solutions according to guidelines.

The hours of the position are M-F with a targeted shift of 1200 PM - 830 PM.
