Histotechnologist I

Pride Health is hiring a Histotechnologist to support our client's medical facility in following cities, Tukwila, WA. This is a 3-month assignment and it's a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Histotechnologist I to join a busy laboratory team in Tukwila, WA. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled histology professional with strong microtomy and embedding experience who is interested in a contract position with potential for permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform tissue embedding and microtomy.
• Cut 20-30 tissue blocks per hour while maintaining quality standards.
• Embed approximately 50 tissue blocks per hour.
• Process a variety of tissue types.
• Follow laboratory quality, safety, and compliance procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support daily laboratory operations.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of recent histology experience.
• Hands-on experience with microtomy and tissue embedding (required).
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
• ASCP Histotechnician (HT) certification required.

• Location: Tukwila, WA
• Job Type: 03 Months (Contract to Hire)
• Pay Range: $25 - $30 hourly
• Shifts: 1st Shift (4 AM-12:30 PM, flexible start at 5 or 6 AM)
• Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
