Title HMS - Associate in Biomedical Informatics (Park lab) School Harvard Medical School Department/Area Biomedical Informatics Position Description
The Park Lab is hiring an Associate in Biomedical Informatics, with experience in Computational Biology. This position is for a recent college graduate who would like to gain research experience before going to graduate or medical school. This role involves a research project with a focus on computational genomics and they will work on methods development for somatic mutation analysis using genome sequencing data. This role involves research, development, and analysis of data from our experimental collaborators and development and application of bioinformatics software to genomic datasets. This includes processing data from a consortium project and ensuring that the data are of high quality and running algorithms to identify genomic alterations. The goal of this research is to result in a published manuscript.
Basic Qualifications
BS in computational biology, computer science, or related field.
