Holiday Sales Assistant (OKC/Seasonal) Non-Safety Sensitive

Pay: $16/hr

Schedule: Open Availability!

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Promote and sell merchandise displayed in the designated holiday gift area.
• Keep the holiday gift area neat, organized, and stocked with merchandise.
• Work directly with internal and external customers.
• Apply knowledge of methods for showing, promoting, and selling products.
• Use excellent customer relations skills.
• Assist customers with "cash & carry" orders.
• Process credit card transactions for gift sales.
• Perform any other duties as directed by management.

EDUCATIONS AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift merchandise of 40 lbs.
• Must be able to walk or stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to listen and respond to customers' needs.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Sales experience preferred, not required.
• Positive attitude when working with internal and external customers.
• Knowledge of employment and safety procedures.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, typing, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.

Heavy Work: Lifting up to 40lbs rarely and10 lbs occasionally to move objects.

Work Environment: Indoor climate-controlled environment.
