Home Care Aide-24-hour shifts

Generations Home Care- Spokane is seeking compassionate and reliable Home Care Aides to provide 24-hour support to our clients in Spokane, WA. In this role, you will play a vital part in improving the quality of life for individuals who require assistance with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff or family members.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients during 24-hour shifts.
• Follow individualized care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Home Care Aide or in a similar caregiving role preferred.
• Ability to work 24-hour shifts reliably and responsibly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude toward clients.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions precisely.
• Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR is a plus.
• MUST be located in or willing to commute to Spokane, WA.
• Pass background checks and any required certifications.
