Home Care Aide -Flexible Scheduling

Cura of Watkins is seeking compassionate and attentive Home Care Aides to join our Garden View AL team. As a Home Care Aide, you will provide essential support and personal care to clients in their homes, promoting their comfort, independence, and well-being. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring a safe environment, and offering companionship. This role would work in our assisted living community. We have a part time evening opening, with hours from 2 pm to 10:30 pm, and a Fulltime day shift HCA with shifts from 6 am to 2:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks including dressing, grooming, and other daily tasks.
• Support clients with medication administration as needed.
• Help with light housekeeping.
• Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes to healthcare supervisors.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation.
• Adhere to safety and infection control standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or similar roles is an advantage.
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and reliable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to follow care plans and work independently.
• Certification in Home Care or related field preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation for travel to client homes.
