About the Role:
A Place At Home Towson is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide to join our growing team in Gaithersburg, MD. Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety at home
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and tidying living spaces
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
• Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to supervisors
• Assist with medication reminders and daily living activities
• Transport or accompany clients to appointments and errands as needed

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Home Care Aide, CNA, PCA, or in a similar caregiving role preferred
• Valid Maryland state certification or eligibility to obtain one is a plus
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a genuine passion for helping others
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
