About the Role:A Place At Home Towson is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide to join our growing team in Towson, MD. In this rewarding role, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals who need support to live comfortably and independently at home. Responsibilities:- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and tidying living spaces
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors
- Assist with medication reminders and follow individualized care plans
- Accompany clients to appointments and errands as needed
Requirements:- Previous experience as a Home Care Aide, CNA, PCA, or caregiver preferred
- Genuine compassion and patience when working with elderly or disabled individuals
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow detailed care plans
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
