Home Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aides to provide exceptional in-home care to our clients in Rochester Hills, MI. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for individuals who need assistance with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and independence in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes to the supervisory staff or medical professionals
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as necessary
• Help with housekeeping tasks like laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals
• Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times

Requirements

• Prior experience in home care or related field is a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate empathy
• Reliable and able to work independently
• Must pass background checks
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation preferred
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
