Essential job functions:
- Performs customer service functions by assisting with all internal and external human resource related inquiries or requests.
- Sources and screens new applicants by posting jobs, attending job fairs, presenting at trade schools, and phone screening, interviewing, and performing background checks on all applicants.
- Directs and coordinates Care Team Member Training.
- Facilitates new employee on-boarding and training. Perform new hire orientation.
- Schedules meetings, interviews, and other events as requested.
- Makes copies, mails, scans, and emails documents and perform other clerical functions.
- Maintains employee files and ensures compliance with all state regulations.
- Assists with ad hoc projects.
- Assists with Office Management and stocking office supplies.
- Assists with On Call phones on a rotating basis with other staff.
- Attends weekly Ops Team Meetings and participates in problem solving and process improvement.
- Nurtures and develops the Care Team.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Working understanding of Labor Law and best practices
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to function well in a fast paced environment with multiple priorities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software and related business communication tools
Education and Experience
- Associates Degree in a related field desired
- Minimum one year related experience
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged Periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs at times
