We are looking for a Home Care Scheduler to help manage our successful home care business! This role makes a significant impact on our daily operations and the ability to provide the best care to patients by coordinating home care services.
You are highly detail-oriented and excel at managing multiple priorities. As a scheduler, you will be primarily responsible for the collection, management, and reporting of scheduling information. Process-driven with exceptional customer service skills, you genuinely care about connecting clients and care professionals to improve lives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Saturdays & Sundays (remote) and Mondays (in office) required. Other days are flexible. 40 hours total
- Coordinate the use of our staff to ensure consistent quality of services for staffing needs
- Assign new clients to care professionals according to scheduling protocols
- Create and maintain schedules for all care professionals/clients
- Contact care professionals regarding shift coverage and any changes to the hours of their regular schedule
- Keep a “hot list” of all staff that can be placed immediately or used as backup for all call off situations
- Fill open shifts and securing coverage for call-offs or changes in clients' needs
- Maintain ongoing communication with Managers, Care Professionals & Clients regarding scheduling and changes
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 yrs scheduling experience preferred
- Must be well organized, show great attention to detail
- Proficient with computer use and software applications
- Multi-tasker and customer service-oriented
- Excellent time management skills
- Homecare experience a plus
