We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and solution-oriented Home Care Scheduler to join our growing home care agency in Naples, Florida. The scheduler plays a critical role in ensuring clients receive consistent, high quality care by coordinating caregiver schedulers, managing last minute call-outs, and optimizing staffing coverage using WellSky. 

This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily caregiver schedules using WellSky EMR
  • Coordinate new client start-of-care scheduling 
  • Match caregivers to clients based on skill-set, availability, and client preferences
  • Handle call-outs, schedule changes, and emergency coverage in real time
  • Monitor overtime and minimize scheduling inefficiencies
  • Maintain accurate documentation within WellSky
  • Communicate clearly with caregivers, clients, and office staff
  • Assist with on-call rotation 
  • Support the clinical and administrative team with scheduling reports and updates

Qualifications 

  • Minimum 1 year scheduling experience in home care or healthcare (required)
  • Experience in WellSky preferred
  • Strong knowledge of caregiver availability management and shift coverage
  • Ability to multitask and make quick decisions under pressure
  • Excellent phone and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and EMR systems
  • Strong organizational skills and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge in Florida home care regulations is a plus

Work Schedule
