About the Role:
Thrive at Home is looking for a dedicated and organized, reliable Home Care Scheduling Coordinator to join our team in Fairfax, VA. In this vital role, you'll need to think quickly, communicate professionally, multitask effectively — connecting clients with compassionate caregivers and keeping everything running smoothly. Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage caregiver schedules to ensure consistent, high-quality client coverage
• Match clients with appropriate caregivers based on needs, availability, and compatibility
• Respond promptly to scheduling changes, call-outs, and last-minute shift requests
• Serve as a primary point of contact for caregivers and clients regarding scheduling matters
• Maintain accurate scheduling records using home care management software
• Communicate with care coordinators and supervisors to align staffing with client care plans
• Monitor caregiver availability, overtime, and compliance with scheduling policies
• Participate in the on-call rotation, including two evenings per week and backup coverage every other weekend

Requirements:

• Prior experience in home care, healthcare staffing, or scheduling coordination preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a high-volume environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with scheduling or home care software (e.g., ClearCare, WellSky, or similar)
• Ability to problem-solve quickly and remain calm under pressure
• Compassionate, client-focused attitude with a team-player mindset
• High school diploma or equivalent required
