CareGivers is a home health agency with 12 locations in Upstate New York and Western Pennsylvania. Our team is dynamic, innovative, compassionate, and growing. We are always looking for positive and skilled professionals to join our team.

We currently have ajob opening for a part time Scheduling Coordinator in our Erie, PA certified home health branch. Come work with a great group of people in a friendly office environment!

Job Opening: Scheduling Coordinator (Entry Level) Branch: Erie, PA Job Location: 2820 West 23rd St., Suite 8, Erie, PA 16506 (this is an in-office position, you must be able to reliably commute to our Erie PA office for your scheduled shifts) Status: Part Time (20-25 hours/week) Hours: Monday -Friday, 8:30am-12:30pm (must have flexibility to work till 1:30pm if the office is busy)

We're Looking For:

  • Someone with a friendly, positive personality with great telephone skills.
  • An excellent multi-tasker who is organized & dependable, with top-notch problem solving and communication skills.
  • A team player with strong detail retention abilities, who takes pride in a job well done.
  • Customer service, scheduling, and/or health care experience preferred.
  • Previous home care scheduling experience preferred.
  • Must be computer proficient, with the ability to communicate via email and inter-company chat. Should have a functional knowledge of office equipment like copiers, scanners, and fax machines.
  • High school diploma required.

Responsibilities Include: (1) receiving inquiry telephone calls from clients, determining the nature and extent of the clients' needs, highlighting the benefits of CareGivers services, assigning appropriate health care staff to deliver the service; (2) coordinating the ongoing delivery of services. Additional responsibilities may be assigned depending on aptitude.

Scheduling Coordinators play a critical role in making sure our clients have the home care services that they need. We're looking for someone diligent, someone that won't give up until they find staff to fill shifts so that no client has to go without services. Scheduling is like a puzzle – it's all about putting the right pieces together.
