Home Care Supervisor

About the RoleSeaStar Senior Services is looking for a dependable, level-headed Caregiver Supervisor to own our weekday home care operations. You'll be the go-to person for our caregivers and clients Monday through Friday - handling call-offs, checking in on clients, coaching caregivers, and keeping families informed. If you're someone who stays calm under pressure, genuinely cares about seniors and adults with disabilities, and likes having ownership over your shift, this is a great fit.What You'll DoShift Management: Monitor attendance, manage call-offs, and deploy backup caregivers to keep every weekday shift covered.Issue Triage: Be the primary point of contact for weekday emergencies, urgent client needs, and caregiver questions.Client Visits: Conduct drop-in visits to client homes to make sure care plans are being followed and assess caregiver performance.Mentorship: Coach and give feedback to field caregivers.Documentation: Keep client charts and the Wellsky time-tracking app accurate and current.Family Communication: Keep families in the loop on their loved one's status.What We're Looking ForExperience working with seniors and/or adults with disabilities, dementia, or mental illnessPrior supervisory or lead caregiver experience preferredComfortable handling urgent situations independentlyReliable transportation for weekday client home visitsCPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain - we can help with training)Comfortable with Google Docs/Sheets and willing to learn the Wellsky portalHigh school diploma or GED required; CNA training or college coursework a plusPay & Schedule$25/hour to start, increasing to $27/hour after 90 daysSet weekday schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hoursMust be available for on-call evenings, weekends and holidays as neededWhy SeaStarSeaStar Senior Services is committed to preserving the dignity, health, and quality of life of every client we serve.
