Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide quality in-home care services to our clients in Westland, MI. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Help clients with medication reminders and basic health monitoring.
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families to ensure proper care and satisfaction.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client’s condition to supervisors.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related healthcare field is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and reliably.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation plus.
• Must pass background check.
