Compensation:

$16.73 - $23.27 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate engaging and interactive learning experiences for children, ensuring each session is tailored to their unique needs.
  • Collaborate closely with families to identify strengths and set achievable educational goals, fostering a supportive learning environment.
  • Utilize our curriculum and key learning frameworks to deliver high-quality education that promotes child development and well-being.
  • Provide guidance and resources to parents, empowering them to enhance their child's learning journey and strengthen parent-child interactions.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, offering constructive feedback and adapting strategies to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with community resources to connect families with essential services that support their educational and personal growth.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of educational activities, progress, and family interactions to ensure transparency and accountability.

Qualifications:
  • Home visiting experience preferred


Education and Training:

  • Minimum of a home-based CDA credential, comparable credential, or equivalent coursework as part of an associate or bachelor’s degree (college credit accepted in lieu of a completed degree)
  • Associate’s degree in early childhood education, Human Services, or a related field preferred
  • Competent in planning and implementing home-based learning experiences
  • Willing to complete any additional required training for effective family support within 18 months


Special Conditions:

  • Ability to lift 40 pounds; stoop, bend, reach, move easily, and work on the floor with families and small children
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record acceptable to the agency’s insurer
  • Able to manage extensive organizing, problem-solving, record-keeping, and time management responsibilities
  • Must be able to travel extensively within the assigned service area
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required for training
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
