We are seeking a compassionate and dependable home health aide to provide personalized support to individuals in their homes. In this role, you will help clients maintain comfort, dignity, and independence while assisting with activities of daily living and offering attentive companionship. The ideal candidate is patient, professional, and committed to delivering high-quality care in a respectful and supportive manner.
Pay ranges from $19 to $25 per hour based on experience, reliability, and personality.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting support
- Provide meal preparation and encourage proper nutrition and hydration
- Support mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation as directed in the care plan
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote comfort and well-being
- Help with light housekeeping tasks such as tidying, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment
- Monitor and report changes in client condition, behavior, or needs to the appropriate supervisor
- Assist with reminders for medications, appointments, and daily routines when permitted by policy
- Follow care plans, safety guidelines, and confidentiality requirements at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care, personal care, or a related caregiving role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and respectful approach to client care
- Ability to follow directions and work independently in a home setting
- Basic understanding of infection control, safety practices, and personal care techniques
- Ability to lift, move, or assist clients according to role requirements and applicable safety guidelines
- Valid certification, license, or training as required by local regulations or employer policy

Work Environment
