Job Summary
We are looking for a Home Health Aide to join our team! You will directly work with IDD individuals, following a one-on-one care plan in an individual's home. You operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care but by building genuine relationships with those you serve. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets the individual's needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to succeed in this role. Prior Home Health or DODD experience is a plus. 

Responsibilities 
  • Assist individuals with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
  • Care for individuals by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care
  • Maintain records of individuals care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor 
  • Build relationships with individuals by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert 
  • Give medications If Qualified
  • Engage individuals in exercises or other activities  
Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • Driver’s license 
  • CPR and first aid certification required 
  • Medication Certification (if applicable)
