Join our Visiting Angels team of dedicated senior care professionals. You'll be making such a positive impact in these seniors lives. It's a real mood booster when you see how happy they are when you arrive... like eating a big bowl of ice cream. lol ! Wilbraham, 01095, 79 year old lovely woman's family is looking for a compassionate skilled caregiver. She suffered a stroke last November leaving her with mobility and speech challenges. Mrs. T is becoming more forgetful and needs some reminders.They believe a caregiver could really help by reminding her to slow down with her walker and the usual routine.This client will start out part time, 9am- 11am Tues & Thurs but will increase as she becomes familiar with her caregiver. The family needs help with Mrs. T's personal care, med reminders, & light housekeeping. You may add other clients & schedules to this one in order to achieve your desired hours.Required:* 2 forms of ID* Driver's license, Vehicle, Over 6 years driving exp., clean driving record* At least 1 year of Professional Eldercare Exp.* At least 2 Professional References* Willing to submit to background checks* Willing to work one shift e/o weekend* Strong ability to speak & understand English
Compensation: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour

With her guidance as Owner and President, the franchise has grown to provide over 80,000 hours of care annually, helping seniors to maintain a sense of independence, dignity, and quality of life in their own home setting. Anstett brings dedication, compassion, experience, and attention to detail to the role – fundamental skills for successful leadership in the ever-evolving home-care industry.

Visiting Angels West Springfield provides in-home care, senior homecare, elderly care, personal care, transitional care, fall prevention care, companion care, respite care, palliative care, dementia care and Alzheimer's care. Services span from 1 hour visits to 24/7 care.
We service Southampton, Westfield, Southwick, Holyoke, West Springfield, Agawam, Chicopee, Springfield, Indian Orchard, Longmeadow, East Longmeadow, Wilbraham, Ludlow, Feeding Hills and Montgomery. The franchise covers the entire Greater Springfield Area and most of the Lower Pioneer Valley region.
Visiting Angels of West Springfield has official accreditation from the Home Care Alliance of Massachusetts. We have also received Home Care Pulse’s award for Best of Home Care- Provider of Choice every year since 2015.
We are currently hiring caregivers! Basic job requirements include:
- Current US driver’s license
- Car
- 1 year of caregiving experience
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong ability to read, write, and speak English, including:
- Read ADLs and personal care instructions
- Communicate verbally with clients and families
- Write shift notes to update the family, office, and other caregivers
- Punctuality and reliability
- Compassionate and caring heart
- Patience and willingness to learn new skills
*Certifications are welcome (CNA, HHA, etc.) but not required. We do offer training and mentorship programs to new caregivers.
