We are seeking a compassionate, dependable Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide one-on-one, in-home care for a client in Marysville, OH. This is a great opportunity for caregivers who value consistent scheduling, meaningful work, and building strong client relationships.
Schedule
- Monday through Sunday (choose a consistent schedule)
- Shift Options:
- 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- or 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
About the Client
- Diagnosed with COPD and emphysema
- Right hip replacement; left hip replacement anticipated
- Requires 1-person assist for transfers
- Uses a wheelchair and scooter
- Lives with a small, friendly dog
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care (bathing, hygiene, grooming)
- Support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Prepare meals based on dietary needs
- Run errands (grocery shopping, prescription pickups)
- Provide safe mobility assistance and companionship
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of home care, HHA, or caregiving experience
- Experience with personal care and mobility assistance preferred
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Dependable, professional, and able to work independently
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Comfortable working in a home with a dog
