Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help clients with mobility and transferring, including use of assistive devices.
- Monitor clients’ health by taking vital signs and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients.
- Provide companionship and support to clients to promote social interaction and mental well-being.
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with the care team and family members.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a related healthcare role preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient with a genuine desire to help others.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
- Ability to pass background check and any state-required certifications.
