Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Help with mobility and transferring clients safely within the home.
- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, meal preparation, and cleaning.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Monitor client condition and report any changes to healthcare professionals or family members.
- Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a caregiving roleis a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively and show empathy towards clients.
- Basic knowledge of personal care and safety procedures.
- Reliable transportation to and from client homes.
- Must be able to pass background checks and meet state certification requirements if applicable.
