Position: Home Health Aide
Location: Kona, Hawaii Island Company: HiHealthCare Pay Rate: Starting at $16.00/hour
HiHealthCare is looking for compassionate and reliable Home Health Aides to provide exceptional in-home care to clients throughout the Kona area. If you're passionate about helping others live safely and independently, we'd love to have you on our team.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
- Provide companionship and support with daily activities
- Monitor and report changes in client condition
- Assist with transfers and ambulation as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment
- Document care provided and communicate with the care team
- Deliver care with dignity, compassion, and respect
Qualifications
- Previous caregiving or healthcare experience preferred
- Completion of a Nurse Aide course
- CPR or BLS Certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the Kona area
- Dependable, caring, and committed to quality client care
Physical Requirements
- Available to work at least one shift per week
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and assist clients throughout the day
- Lift and transfer up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working independently in clients' homes
