The Home Health Aide is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of a registered nurse and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs.  The team is looking for a dedicated individual with a passion for care and values honesty and commitment as much as BrightStar does. Job Types: Full Time and Part Time in North Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter, Tequesta, Hobe Sound, Stuart, and Palm City.

Home Health Aide - Requirements

• Successful completion of a Home Health Aide Certificate (HHA)
• Palm Beach County HHA Badge
• Certified CPR-BLS for healthcare providers (in person course)
• Must hold the following CEU's- HIV/AIDS, Alzheimer's, Domestic Violence, Infection Control, Medical Records, Resident Rights, Communication w/impaired, Medical Error and Self Administration of Medications
• Physical Exam and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray within the last 5 years is required
• Minimum one (1) year of paid experience is required
• Valid Drivers license, auto insurance
• Reliable transportation
• Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
