Position Details
Facility: BayCare Health System Private Duty Location: Pinellas County Status: Per Visit hourly Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Varies Weekend Work: Every 3rd weekend On Call: No
Home Health Aide Key Responsibilities
• As part of the patient care team, works under the guidance and supervision of the staff nurse in providing personal care to the patients • Follows the patients plan of care for completion of tasks assigned to a home health aide by the registered nurse or other appropriate skilled professional • Maintains an open communication process with the patient representative if any caregivers and family • Demonstrates competency with assigned tasks • Complies with infection prevention and control policies and procedures • Reports changes in the patients condition • Honors patient rights
Required Certifications and Licensures
• CNA: Certified Nursing Assistant or HHA certification from accredited 75-hour program • Drivers License: State of Florida Florida drivers license is required within 30 days of hire • BLS: Basic Life Support
Education and Experience
• Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent • Preferred: 1 year Home Care
