Home Health Aide - Private Duty

• Facility: BayCare Health System Private Duty
• Location: Pinellas County
• Status: Full Time hourly
• Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Weekend Work: Every 3rd weekend
• On Call: No

Home Health Aide Key Responsibilities As part of the patient care team, works under the guidance and supervision of the staff nurse in providing personal care to the patients.

• Follows the patients plan of care for completion of tasks assigned to a home health aide by the registered nurse or other appropriate skilled professional.
• Maintains an open communication process with the patient, representative, if any, caregivers, and family.
• Demonstrates competency with assigned tasks.
• Complies with infection prevention and control policies and procedures.
• Reports changes in the patients condition.
• Honors patient rights.

Required Certifications and Licensures

• CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or HHA certification from accredited 75-hour program.
• Drivers License: State of Florida. Florida drivers license is required within 30 days of hire.

Education

• Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience

• Preferred: 1 year Home Care.
