Job Summary


We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our team. This position involves a consistent weekly schedule every Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing one-on-one care in the patient’s home.


The ideal candidate is caring, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality, person-centered care. You’ll not only assist with daily living tasks but also build meaningful relationships that enhance the overall well-being of the client. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for caregiving are essential. Prior experience in home health or hospice care is a plus.


Key Responsibilities


  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.

  • Help patients transition safely in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or vehicles.

  • Perform light housekeeping duties such as changing bed linens, doing laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe home environment.

  • Monitor and document the patient’s condition, progress, or concerns, and communicate observations to the supervisor.

  • Provide companionship by engaging in meaningful conversation, reading, or light activities to support mental and emotional health.

  • Assist with prescribed exercises and mobility routines.

  • Ensure the client’s comfort and dignity are maintained at all times.

  • (Optional, if within scope of practice and allowed by state regulation) Administer basic medications under supervision.

 
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • One year prior professional experience
