Home Health Aide

MENTOR Adult Day Health, a member of the Sevita family, provides day programs for elders with complex medical or rehabilitative needs. This allows seniors to obtain quality healthcare while remaining active and involved in the community and continuing to live in their own homes. Our programs are staffed with qualified, experienced licensed nurses and caregivers who are trained to provide individual assistance to each person we serve.

Home Health Aide (HHA) - In-Home Care

Location: Wareham & Surrounding Areas

Schedule: Flexible Hours | Based on Availability

Wage: $19.00/hour + Mileage Reimbursement

Requirements

• Current HHA or CNA certification

• Full, valid driver's license held for at least 12 months and a reliable personal vehicle for travel to individuals' homes; permits and JOLs do not qualify

• High school diploma or equivalent; must be at least 18 years old

• Must pass a background check, physical exam, and TB skin test

Other Certifications Welcome

No HHA/CNA certification? Other qualifying certifications may be eligible for:

• Homemaker (HM): $18.00/hour

• Personal Care (PC): $18.00/hour

• Personal Care/Homemaker (PCHM): $18.50/hour

About the Role

Join our team as a Home Health Aide (HHA) and provide compassionate, one-on-one care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. Help support their daily needs while promoting safety, independence, and quality of life.

This position starts on a per diem basis, with the opportunity to gradually build your schedule over time as you pick up additional clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, transfers, and personal care

• Provide light housekeeping and meal preparation

• Run errands and assist with grocery shopping as needed

• Monitor health conditions and document services provided

• Build positive relationships with the individuals you serve

• Maintain a safe and supportive home environment
