Home Health Aides and Live-In Caregivers

Job Summary:Senior Helpers- Linwood is seeking compassionate and reliable NJ Home Health Aides (CHHAs) and Live-In Home Health Aides to provide exceptional in-home care to our clients throughout Atlantic County, NJ Areas. We are urgently looking for caregivers for the Long Beach Island area. These roles involves supporting seniors and individuals with daily living activities to promote their independence and enhance their quality of life. We have 4hr, 8hr, 12hr, and overnight shifts. We also have Live-In Home Health Aide positions! Some of the areas and towns we service are Long Beach Island, Manahawkin, Barnegat Light, Little Egg Harbor, Galloway Township, and Atlantic City.

Home Health Aide Responsibilities:

• Provide care and assistance to senior clients in accordance with their individual care plans
• Assist with medication reminders, grooming, bathing, and other activities of daily living.
• Monitor and report any changes in client's physical, emotional, or mental condition to the supervising nurse.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for clients.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in activities to promote physical and mental stimulation.
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families, as well as the Senior Helpers team.

Home Health Aide Requirements:

• Valid New Jersey Home Health Aide Certification (CHHA).
• Valid Drivers License.
• Reliable transportation to travel to clients’ homes in the Atlantic County and Cape May County areas.
• At least 1 year of experience as a caregiver.
• Flexible availability to accommodate client needs is a Huge Plus

Live-In Certified Home Health Aide Responsibilities:

• Personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation assistance)
• Light housekeeping/ Laundry
• Medication reminders
• Assist with daily exercises
• Companionship (Conversations, take client to activities)
• Accompany clients to appointments and errands
• Meals (Preparing specific meals, escorting to the dining room)

Live-In Home Health Aide Requirements:

• 1 Year Experience as a Caregiver with NJ issued CHHA License
• Must be eligible to work in the US
• Valid driver's license and vehicle for transportation is a Big Plus (optional)

Live-In Home Health Aide (CHHA) Weekly schedule:

• Mon-Sun, Full Time
