About the Role:
Anuco Home Health Care LLC is looking for a detail-oriented Home Health Coding and Quality Assurance Specialist to join our growing team in Chicago, IL. This is a critical role where your expertise in medical coding and quality standards will directly impact patient care and operational excellence. Responsibilities:

• Assign accurate ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes for home health patient records and OASIS assessments
• Review and audit clinical documentation to ensure coding accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Conduct quality assurance reviews of OASIS data submissions and clinical records
• Identify documentation deficiencies and collaborate with clinical staff to resolve discrepancies
• Monitor and ensure compliance with CMS home health guidelines, conditions of participation, and payer requirements
• Generate QA reports and provide feedback to clinical teams to support continuous improvement
• Stay current with home health coding updates, regulatory changes, and industry best practices

Requirements:

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC), HCS-D, or equivalent home health coding certification preferred
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in home health coding and/or quality assurance
• Strong working knowledge of ICD-10-CM coding guidelines and OASIS documentation
• Familiarity with CMS home health regulations, PPS, and PDGM reimbursement models
• Proficiency with home health EMR/EHR software and coding tools
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
