    Position Summary

    The Director of Nursing is responsible for overseeing all clinical operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, maintaining the highest quality of patient care, and providing leadership and mentorship to nursing staff. This role serves as a key member of the leadership team and plays an essential role in advancing our commitment to exceptional home health and hospice services.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide strategic and operational leadership for nursing services
    • Ensure compliance with state, federal, Medicare, and accreditation requirements
    • Oversee clinical quality improvement initiatives and patient outcomes
    • Recruit, mentor, and develop nursing staff
    • Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and executive leadership
    • Monitor and maintain clinical policies, procedures, and standards of care
    • Promote a culture of compassion, accountability, and excellence
    • Support census growth through exceptional service delivery and community relationships
    Requirements
    • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (License in state of New Mexico)
    • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing leadership experience
    • Home Health management experience strongly preferred
    • Thorough knowledge of Medicare regulations and clinical compliance standards
    • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
