An Occupational Therapist is a licensed healthcare professional who evaluates patients and designs treatment plans to improve their ability to perform daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans and functional goals
- Help patients regain skills for daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, eating
- Recommend adaptive equipment (e.g., grab bars, special utensils)
- Modify environments (home, workplace, school) for safety and independence
- Provide therapy for fine motor skills, coordination, and cognitive functioning
- Educate patients and caregivers
- Document progress and adjust treatment plans

Requirements
