Physical Therapist (PT) – Job Description


A Physical Therapist is a licensed healthcare professional who evaluates and treats patients with movement disorders, injuries, or disabilities.

  •  Evaluate patients’ physical condition, mobility, strength, and pain levels 
  •  Develop individualized treatment plans and rehabilitation goals 
  •  Use techniques like therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities (heat, ultrasound, etc.) 
  •  Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed 
  •  Educate patients on exercises, injury prevention, and lifestyle changes 
  •  Maintain detailed documentation and comply with healthcare regulations 
  •  Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers

Requirements

A Physical Therapist Assistant works under the supervision of a PT to help implement treatment plans.
