Join Our Team as an Intake Coordinator at Alpha Home Health & Hospice!

Full-time Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, onsite in our Everett office

What Do We Require of You?
At least 2 years of intake experience in a medical office, preferably home health/hospice
Experience with Home Care Home Base is strongly preferred
Demonstrated cooperation and excellent customer service skills
Ability to multi-task and stay on task in a fast-paced office
Excellent team-oriented, verbal, and written communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Perform patient intake, verify insurance, demographics, orders, and document necessary information
Interface with contract, clinical, and office staff to foster collaboration and positive working relationships
Serve as the primary responder to all inbound calls and inquiries
Provide excellent customer service to patients, referral sources, and community contacts
Maintain proper daily workflow and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
Communicate effectively and professionally regarding coordination of care expectations
Educate and enforce deadlines, schedule updates, and workflow requirements
Coordinate initial patient assessments and follow-ups with clinical staff
Ensure accurate data entry and record-keeping for all patient information
Assist in the development and maintenance of intake procedures and protocols
