Position Overview
As an Infusion Registered Nurse, you will provide skilled infusion therapy and nursing care to approximately5 patients per week, with each infusion visit averaging2 hours. This position offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to focus on quality patient care in a comfortable home environment.
What You'll Do
Administer prescribed infusion therapies safely and accurately in patients’ homes
Assess patients before, during, and after infusion treatments
Monitor for adverse reactions and respond appropriately to infusion-related complications
Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy, medications, and treatment plans
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Follow all clinical protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements
What We're Looking For
Active Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license
Infusion nursing experience preferred; home infusion experience is a plus
Strong IV insertion, vascular access, and clinical assessment skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and effectively manage scheduled patient visits
Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused approach to care
Current BLS certification required
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
