We offer competitive pay and a supportive work environment.Responsibilities:Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities to identify strengths, weaknesses, and treatment needs.Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans that address specific patient goals, including speech sound production, language development, fluency, voice disorders, and swallowing difficulties.Therapeutic Interventions: Provide direct therapy services, such as articulation therapy, language therapy, fluency therapy, voice therapy, and swallowing therapy, using evidence-based practices.Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve communication skills, swallowing safety, and overall quality of life.Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, occupational therapists, and physical therapists, to develop comprehensive care plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes.Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.Compliance: Adhere to all relevant regulatory standards and guidelines, including HIPAA and Medicare regulations.Requirements:Licensure: Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Florida.Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in hospital, rehab, or skilled nursing facility is required.Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a patient-centered approach to care.Professionalism: Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to providing high-quality care.Transportation: Reliable transportation to visit patients in their homes.Benefits:Competitive PayFlexible Scheduling401(k) Plan with Employer MatchProfessional Development OpportunitiesSupportive Work EnvironmentJoin our team and make a lasting impact on the lives of our patients.
