What You'll Do
As a Home Health Speech Therapist, you will:
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, swallowing, and cognitive communication disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's goals.
- Educate patients and caregivers on communication strategies and home exercise programs.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Help patients improve their communication, independence, and overall quality of life.
Qualifications
Required:
- Current Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable using tablets, mobile devices, and EMR software
Preferred:
- One year of Speech Therapy experience
- Home Health or Hospice experience
