The hospice aide is a paraprofessional who works under a registered nurse's supervision to provide personalized care, comfort, and support to patients and families.
Requirements include performing personal care tasks such as baths, oral hygiene, shampoos, and linen changes; assisting with dressing and undressing; and communicating positively with patients and families while maintaining confidentiality.
Must hold both a CNA and HHA license.
