General Summary
Responsible for providing safe, quality, cost-effective care for patients requiring intravenous therapy in the home or alternative setting.
Principal Responsibilities and Tasks

Use the nursing process to plan and provide patient/family care. This includes assessing and evaluating needs and implementing effective care plans which are kept up to date, evaluated, and documented.
Coordinate patient care activities and maintain communication with other disciplines, including nursing agency, pharmacist, and physician.
Teach the patient/family about the patient's care needs and disease prevention.
Follow appropriate infection control measures.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
Minimum of one year home health experience
Registered Nurse, currently licensed by the state of Maryland
CRNI credential preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Valid Maryland driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
Experienced in the care of peripheral and central lines.
Ability to troubleshoot potential problems that may arise in dealing with IV therapy.

Compensation:
Pay Range: $38.67- $58.05
