The Akron Board of Education announces an opening for a Home Instructor, Job Code 038, TS 380 (190 Days), Salary $37.24 (extended time) an hour, not to exceed 5 hours per Home Instruction student. This position requires availability after-school hours. Bargaining Unit ? AEA. This is a State Teachers Retirement System position.

Qualifications - Required:
Valid teaching certification/licensure in the State of Ohio.
Desired:
Demonstrates knowledge of instructional strategies;
Experience in planning, developing and conducting instruction in a one-one setting;
Commitment to work with scientifically-based research instructional practices;
Experience working collaboratively with families, teachers and building staff.
