Qualifications - Required: Valid teaching certification/licensure in the State of Ohio.Desired:Commitment to work 24 hrs. per week at ACH;Demonstrates knowledge of instructional strategies;Experience in planning, developing and conducting instruction in a one-one setting;Commitment to work with scientifically-based research instructional practices;Experience working collaboratively with families, teachers, school districts and ACH staff. Position Description:Provide academic instruction supports on site at ACH;Communicates with the regular classroom teacher to identify pupil needs;Reports pupil progress to classroom teacher, program personnel and/or parents;Keeps up-to-date records of each pupil's progress; andPerforms all other duties as directed by the Director of Special Education or his designee.Reports to ACH 24 hours per week, follows Akron Public School's calendar.
