Title: Home Lending CIO
Reports to: Sr. EVP & Consumer CIO
About this role
Wells Fargo is seeking a transformational technology executive to lead the modernization of Home Lending Technology across one of the largest and most complex mortgage platforms in the industry. This executive will lead enterprise-scale platform transformation initiatives spanning loan origination, digital servicing capabilities, automation, architecture modernization, AI enablement, and operating model redesign to support long-term growth, operational efficiency, regulatory rigor, and customer experience modernization.
This role represents a rare opportunity to rebuild a top-tier lending platform at scale during a reinvestment and modernization phase. The CIO will partner across Home Lending, Capital Markets, Digital, Operations, Risk, and Enterprise Technology teams to deliver a modern, mobile-first, AI-enabled home lending ecosystem.
You will bring an enterprise integration mindset with ability to drive transformation across interconnected domains rather than isolated technology silos. You will balance innovation with operational discipline, governance requirements, and large-scale enterprise delivery complexity. Navigate budget competition, enterprise prioritization models, and transformation investment processes.
