The Homemaker provides non-medical support services that enable clients to remain safely and comfortably in their homes. Responsibilities include light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, grocery shopping, changing bed linens, washing dishes, organizing living areas, and other approved household tasks. Homemakers promote client independence, dignity, and quality of life while following the individualized service plan. This position does not provide hands-on personal care, medication administration, or skilled nursing services. Homemakers must maintain a clean, safe environment, observe and report changes in the client's condition to the supervisor, protect client confidentiality, and comply with agency policies, HIPAA requirements, infection control practices, and all applicable federal and state regulations.
